First off the show is embarassing and personal and the show itself is filled with problems when putting everything on the hands of a polygraph, I don't recommend it...
Polygraph don't show that you are lieing but rather you are thinking or having thoughts in your mind. And yes I have been on a polygraph before and there is a difference in that this show u can lie on the initial test, they just use it against you on the show while normaly you just fail...
It seems easy to beat if you are clear-headed. Difficult question just lie on them then on the show just say the opposite answer there for a negative negative gives u a positive =P
In anycase I think they (TV shows) have reached a new low in that now you are trading your life/relationships for a chance to win money, they prolly screen the contestants to find the easy prey and most "entertaining" And the answers that break up the families might even be a simple misunderstanding or bad reading on the polygraph. Grrr.... I don't like shows that promote breaking families apart...
On the otherhand, find a way to beat the show reminds me of a great tv show "Liar Game" =)
